What happens to your details
You send me your name, how to reach you and a few lines about your project. This page says exactly where those go, how long they stay and what you can ask me to do with them.

Who is responsible
Katy Glover, trading as Sul Digital (self-employed (trabalhador independente)), NIF 226357350. The registered address is available on request. Questions about this policy go to hello@sul-digital.com.
That means I decide what happens to the details you send, and I answer for them personally. There is no data protection officer and no outsourced team: if you write, I read it.
What is collected
The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number and a message. The phone number is there because most conversations move to WhatsApp, not because it is needed to answer.
The form does not store anything on this website. It opens WhatsApp on your device with your message already written, and you press send. Nothing is copied into a database, a spreadsheet or a mailing list on the way.
The site also keeps one small note in your browser recording your cookie answer, so the banner does not ask you twice. No analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no heatmaps.
Why it is used
To answer you and prepare a quote: taking steps at your request before a contract, which is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
To keep proper records: invoices and contracts are held for the period Portuguese accounting and tax law requires.
For anything optional: your consent, which you can take back at any time on the cookie page.
Where your message goes
WhatsApp is run by Meta, outside the EU, and once the chat is open their terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation. If you would rather not use it, write to the email above and we can work entirely over email.
The site itself is served by a hosting provider, which may record standard technical details such as an IP address and which page was requested. That is the only automatic collection on this site.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Quotes, contracts and invoices are kept for 10 years, which is what Portuguese accounting law asks of me. Your cookie answer stays until you clear it on the cookie page or in your browser.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys or sells your data here, and nothing is shared for advertising. Details are only seen by me, plus the companies that keep the site running and store messages you send through WhatsApp. No personal data is used to build profiles about you.
Your rights
You can ask to see what I hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, ask that its use be limited, object to it, or move it elsewhere. You can withdraw a consent you gave, and you do not need a reason. Ask by email and you will get a reply within 30 days.
If you think your data has been mishandled and I have not put it right, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and the device that runs it is the only one holding enquiry records. No card or bank details are ever collected on this website.
Children
This site is written for business owners. It is not aimed at anyone under 16, and I would delete an enquiry from a child if one arrived.
If this changes
Any change to what is collected gets written here before it starts, and the date at the top of the page moves with it.
